Balestri Valda Soave Classico 2023 (Vento) $18

100% Soave

This is Balestri Valda’s interpretation of Soave; unmistakable due to its characteristic minerality, it is an expression of the volcanic terroir found in the Balestri Valda’s vineyards within a large volcanic/tectonic basin. It is fresh, fruity and highly appealing. There is a close relationship between basalt soils and the rich flavors and balance that are found in the wines that come from these soils.

Guado al Melo L’Airone Vermentino 2023 (Tuscany) $23

100% Vermentino

L’Airone is a young, very pleasant, fresh and fragrant white wine. Its pale yellow hue initially presents aromatic notes of fruit (grapefruit, apricot and mango) and sweet floral ones (orange blossom and linden); it then evolves towards hints of tea and peach, with a faint hint of bread crust and pastries. In the mouth, it is medium-bodied and flowing, savory and with good freshness.

Tenuta La Meridiana, Barbera d’Asti 2021 (Barbera d’Asti) $21

Its blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet and Petit Verdot makes this wine a classic expression of a what-is-known as a Super Tuscan.

La Sala Chianti Classico 2021 (Tuscany) $25

95% Sangiovese and 5% Merlot

This wine has an intense and vivid ruby red color, with a typical Sangiovese aroma, with red fruits like cherries, floral notes like violet and peony. The sip is fresh and velvety, and all the aromas correspond to the palate. The final taste is soft and pleasantly sapid, with delicate mature tannin. It is an excellent representative of the Chianti Classico region.
